Common questions

A few useful details.

Planning information for private classes, groups, and medical certification courses.

Where can I find prices?

The Prices page lists introductory course fees, group prices, and maximum student counts. Custom blends receive a written quote. Any additional venue, travel, range, or equipment charges are agreed before booking.

Do you teach homeschool groups and individual students?

Yes. Homeschool families and co-ops can choose outdoor workshops, a learning day, a three-session series, or a private lesson for one or two students. Individual students may request a place in a shared class as dates and enrollment allow. See homeschool options and the Prices page for rates and included group sizes. Parents or co-op adults remain on site to support supervision.

Is MARCH training an official TCCC or TECC course?

No. MARCH Trauma Fundamentals and Tactical Trauma Skills and Scenarios are PNW Outdoor Skills workshops inspired by tactical casualty-care priorities. They do not issue an official TCCC or TECC credential. Tell us if your employer or unit requires a specific credential.

Do I need experience?

Many outdoor and medical classes are appropriate for beginners. Tell me your starting point. Introduction to Long Range Shooting includes firearm safety and handling instruction. I assess your skills at the start and coach you as needed; range requirements are confirmed before booking.

Can you come to our location?

Medical and selected group classes can be arranged at a suitable customer location in Southwest Washington. Outdoor and range sessions need a venue suited to the activities. Travel and venue details are included in the quote.

Can I combine topics?

Yes. Select a custom blend of outdoor, medical, and range topics in the inquiry form. We’ll propose an agenda and any separate sessions needed. Red Cross certification courses must still meet their full course and skills requirements; combining topics does not shorten those requirements.

Are all medical courses certifications?

Selected Red Cross courses award the applicable certificate after successful completion. A custom outdoor medical workshop is not the same as a full Red Cross certification course. We will identify the certificate, if any, before you enroll.

How long are courses?

Custom classes can be focused sessions, half days, full days, or overnight experiences. Red Cross timing depends on the course and format. Wilderness and Remote First Aid is 16 hours and requires current adult CPR/AED and a minimum age of 14.

Can children participate?

Age-appropriate outdoor and medical training can be discussed for families, schools, and groups. Course age requirements, supervision, and parent or guardian arrangements are confirmed in advance. Introduction to Long Range Shooting is for adults.

What should I bring?

A course-specific equipment list is provided before training. Outdoor sessions may require weather-appropriate clothing, water, personal food, and basic field gear. Range sessions require suitable equipment and ammunition as agreed.

What if weather changes the plan?

Outdoor dates and activities depend on conditions and venue availability. The booking proposal will explain weather alternatives, rescheduling, and cancellation terms before you pay.

Do you offer discounts?

Law enforcement personnel, veterans, and military members receive a 25% discount on course fees. Please mention eligibility when requesting a quote.

How do I book?

Send a training inquiry with your goals, group size, and preferred dates. Todd will follow up with a course recommendation and written quote covering dates, location, prerequisites, equipment, and booking terms. A class is not reserved until confirmed. Online payment is not available on this page.
